“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Gal. 6:7)
Although not ancient I have been around long enough to have witnessed the truth in the sage saying.
I have seen those who have spent a lifetime taking the greatest delight in being troublemakers, they stir up the pot. Then, they sit back and laugh as they watch the fireworks go off. They excel at being mean, cruel, and spiteful just for the pleasure of it. In the end they are left all alone, each ticking of the clock seeming like an eternity of hell. Their heart screams out in anguish, sorrow and pain. Yet, no one cares. They suffer alone. They beg to die. The sad thing is, they refuse to repent. So, when they die, their torment is just beginning for an eternity.
I have seen lovely ladies and gentlemen that even in their old age they are constantly catered to because they were so kind and loving towards others all their lives. When their moment comes for the angels to guide them into Jesus’ loving arms in Heaven, they die a quiet, peaceful, contented death.
“You people that hear me, listen! Think carefully about the things you hear. The way you give is the way God will give to you. But God will give you more than you give.”
Mark 4:23-24 (English Revised Version)
I have witnessed this truth.

I was not expecting this from your title but yes, what we sow we shall surely reap. Good article. Makes one stop and think.
Without repentance, we cannot enter into God’s Kingdom. How could being tormented be the choice one makes, when compared to spending all eternity with the Lord? This sounds so crazy, yet many refuse to accept God’s perfect plan for whoever is willing to humble themself and turn from their sins. Thanks again, for an excellent message. God Bless
