Thank the Lord

God’s will is for us to appreciate what He does for us, so we can build our lives around our blessings.

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Thessalonians 6:18

Appreciation enables us to recognize all the good in our daily lives.  We are empowered to focus in on the enjoyable people, the kind words and the rich thoughts that give us so much joy.  This gratitude helps prevent us from taking for granted the very things that make us the most happy.  The problems and difficulties are still there to be worked on, but in the back seat instead of the driver’s seat of our minds and lives.

Giving thanks in every thing, as the Bible encourages us to do, opens up the doors of opportunity for us each day.

Refreshing thoughts and feelings are offered to us in every moment.   Thankfulness renews our sense of well-being, regardless of the circumstances.

Only few people give thanks to the Lord for the blessings they received but when they are in need.. they always call the name of the Lord.
