The Bible is a whole collection of books that has sacred texts of Christians. It is an account of how God was revealed in lives of chosen people. The Bible was written by many authors around the world. Many religious and non religious people around the world would read the Bible such has people from schools, communities, churches and heaps more.
The Bible is split into two sections which is The Old and New Testament. The Old Testament was the first one to be written and has more books then the New Testament. The writings usually focus about Jesus’ birth, death and resurrection or the formation of the early church.
The Old Testament is the first section of the Bible. It contains 46 books and has more books then the New Testament. It is made into four groups which are The Pentateuch, The Historical Books, The Prophets and Wisdom. The Old Testament has two other different names, the first Testament and Hebrew Scriptures. The earliest writings were in the Old Testament and have been written up to one thousand years before Jesus was even born.
The New Testament is second part of the Bible and is made up into twenty-seven books. It is also divided into four sections, Gospels, Acts of the Apostles, Letters of St Paul and Letters. The New Testament is also known has the Christians Scriptures and the Second Testament. The latest writings have been written by Christian leaders from the early church. They have been written and completed in The New Testament which was time around 90 AD.
The first five books made in the Bible were the Pentateuch. The writings in the Bible mostly and usually focuses on Jesus’ life, death and resurrection.
