Numbers are important in our daily life. They mark the end and beginning of each day, birthdays, years, anniversaries, appointments, salaries and a lot more. But apart from having a significant meaning to everyone; some numbers do mean a lot more to Christians as they
were mentioned in the bible and here are some of them and the scripture references:

  • One- The number 1 represent unity[ genesis2;24], it also represent independent existence[
    Deuteronomy 6;4].
  • Two- The number 2 represents strength and help [Ecclesiastes 4;9-12].
  • Three-The number 3 is the number of God [often referred to as the trinity; the Father, the Son and the Spirit] Matthew 28;19.
  • Four- The number 4 represents the four seasons of the world [namely; winter, summer,
    autumn and spring and also the four directions[ south, east, west and north] Revelation 7;1.
  • Five- Number 5 represents mankind with the different five-membered parts of the human body [ Leviticus 14;14-16].
  • Six- The number 6 represents evil and failure [Revelation 13;18].
  • Seven- The number 7 represents perfection, it also represents earth crowned with heaven [Revelation 1;4].And finally;
  • Ten- number 10 represents completeness [Revelation 2;10].
