The Great Shaking To Come

The year 2012 is here. There are many “woes” happening now and more are still to come, but there is a hope to be had in these difficult times. It is not the end of the world though for many it sure feels like it. Many lost their homes in Colorado fires, some lost their very lives in fierce storms that just recently swept the eastern part of United States, and there are floods in several places on the continent while the war is brewing in Middle East with hundreds of people dying every single day…

 “Where do you see hope in all of that?” you may ask. Well, we are still here. The world will not end and there is a God out there who loves us all and will not allow us to altogether perish. There is more to life than what we can see and touch, and despite all evil and suffering that we experience, we can be sure that good will win at the end of the present era and there will be a new beginning.

 The events that are taking place around us and these that are still to take place were predicted long time ago. God has revealed them to those who were open to listen to Him. Future has been written in advance in an incredible detail. What these people wrote thousands of years ago is happening now. We are not completely at the mercy of elements, nature, or even the universe we are living in. There is power greater still. No alien civilization out there is going to save us, nor is it going to destroy us even though such might exist.

 2012 is a crossroad of history, a defining point in a story of humanity. All of us are going to have to make a choice as to how we are going to react to the natural as well as supernatural challenges ahead of us. We will have to decide whether we will submit to our Creator or whether we are going to reject Him.

 As one of the prophets wrote long ago, “multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision.” We cannot stop the events that are now unfolding. They are the fruits of decisions made by majority of people today and in the past. Some of these decisions were good and others bad, in fact many were bad.

 There are many people today who listen to God who warn us about the shaking to come. Some are having dreams, others have had supernatural visions that have come to pass and are still going to happen. They all echo the ancient predictions as well. I had some of such dreams and visions myself about mega earthquakes and violent storms. I asked God whether it was a literal shaking or a symbolic one; He showed in me through the Scriptures that is going to be both.

 I did not receive any dates, or specific places directly, but I have this burning conviction that it might be soon even this coming winter of 2012/2013 and it will impact not only North America, but the rest of the world as well. Some others claim to have received the details that the next mega quake will hit the pacific west coast of North America and will totally devastate big coastal cities there while the east coast will suffer powerful storms and flooding for miles inland in cities such as New York. I don’t know if this will be so, but it is better to be ready. Wherever you live, get ready in the physical by storing some food, water, and other essentials just in case of any emergency. In my dreams, I nearly always see people downplaying this and ignoring the warnings. It is better to be safe than sorry.

 The same thing goes for the spiritual. God gave us the way out. He gave us His Son, yes Jesus is His name. I am not trying to sell you into some kind of religion; I just share what I know. I have experienced the power of His name. I have been in His holy presence and it changed me forever. I know that there is God and that He is love.

 He knows what we are facing. He knows our pain and He knows the end from the beginning. He said through ancient prophet Joel, “heavens and the earth will shake, but I will be a shelter to my people and the strength of the children of Israel.” We can hold on to His promise in the midst of our troubles.

 Jesus said 2000 years ago that those who believe in Him will have tribulation. His followers are being killed daily, but this is not the end and not all are to give their lives for their faith though all should be ready to do so. The light will shine the brightest when it is going to be dark. Those who seek Him will not be disappointed. They will find strength in their weakness and victory over the worst adversities. There is hope.

 Let us not give in to fear, but be full of faith for “God did not give us the spirit of fear, but power, love, and sound mind ,” apostle Paul said in second letter to Timothy chapter one and verse seven. We have the power over demonic forces and the power over all kinds of adversities if we just submit wholly ourselves to Him.

 It is time to stop just playing church, pretending we love God while loving sin. Sin is not fun, its pleasure if any is very short lived and the price to pay for it is life. Those who are trying to gain their life in this world, to partake of its ungodly ways and lusts are going to lose their life eternal. It is not worth it, my friends. There is no greater pleasure than to know God, to feel His Love with every fibre of your being that it is hardly possible to take it in. I don’t know how about you, but I want this for all eternity and I hope that I will see you all there. On this earth as well as the new earth and in the new heaven that God is going to make for us all to enjoy. Choose Jesus, choose Life.
