John the baptist lived in the Judean Wilderness.
He wore clothing made of camel hair and ate locusts and wild honey.
Isaiah often prophecied,There is a voice out in the Wilderness saying,
“Repent, For the Kingdom of God is near.”
John would baptize people in the Jordan River after they confessed their
sins.
