The name of Jesus is the shortest and easiest prayer. Say in the midst of your work everyday. Say it when you face the valley of tears that is life. Say it with respect, fear and love. Say it with humility. Say it with love. Say it with resignation to His Will. Say it with Thanksgiving for His being born and dying on the Cross for our sins.
Jesus was given his name by St. Gabriel to his mother Mary in Luke 1 at the Annunciation. It was also given Him at his Circumsion 8 days after He was born in Luke 2:21.
Phillipians 3:10. At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bend, in the heavens on the earth and under the earth. This feast of the Name of Jesus is celebrated in the Catholic Church (outside of which there is no salvation, c. Acts 4:12) on January 2, the day after the Circumsion where He received His name. Jesus said to ask the Father anything in His name.
The 2012 Dallas Cowboys would need divine intervention as I write this after they lost to the Giants 31-14.

It’s true that you can ask for anything you want but that doesn’t mean you’ll get it.
If you pray with confidence, humility, and perseverance and if it is good for your salvation, your prayer will be granted.
