The Imperfect one
I may not see clearly the paths I take like some say I should see
I may not be the person at times that some say I should be .
No I m not the perfect one some may claim they are ,
But you can only see them close it is God who views from afar .
Yes let them throw their daggers towards me for everyone to see .Shout aloud in public of how great that they may be
I will pray in silence knowing behind closed doors my God does see !
Let them shout in vainglory as they take everything in sight
I will pray in silence trusting in his word “everything in darkness soon shall come to light”.
No im not the perfect one like some may claim to be
I am blessed with imperfections for everyone to see!
Thank you for this humbled heart God you have given me .
For it is in your word I trust “Your son will set me free”.
I will never hate them for things said or done .
You have taught me in this book “none are perfect No not even one” !
I pray for their forgiveness and bless them ,No thought to even any score
,You have written in this book to live by Matthew5 verse44 .
Yes my heart was very troubled at times I could not see…
Thank you dear God in those times for that perfect peace Of IsaIah 26 verse 3
… “Thou will give them perfect peace who’s mind is stayed on thee”
I may at times feel lonely ,Others feel distraught ,But I remember in those times I am always in your thought .
Thank you dear God for psalms especially psalms 1 verses 1to 3
Oh my God I cry in silence “I could be like that tree”…
You see None of us are perfect …I could look straight down the line
That is why you gave to us 1st John 1 verse 9
.As I fell to my knees that night ,I had so many fears but upon the solid rock I leaned
Take away this fear dear God was my final plea
.Oh keep my soul and deliver me let me not be ashamed I put my trust in thee”
Not one .Not twice but more than that I was truly blind but when I turned to romans 12:2 I knew you could renew my mind .
Now I’m much more happy I don’t seek the worldly things once sought .
You took me to this place in Romans to know “I am not my own but with a price I was bought”…..
My eyes were truly opened when I read (John 3:16) I asked you in my heart that night and began seeing things I had never seen !
I thank you for this peace inside I am truly blessed !This peace inside my heart I have I never could have guessed .
Please don’t walk the paths I’ve taken in order for you to see.
My hope and prayer for you today is that you will pray with me .
God I am a sinner and do need your saving grace …I know you shed your blood on the cross so I could live eternally in a better place .
..Yes dear lord for my sins i believe that you did bleed ,
Not for mine and mine alone but all of those in need .I accept you in my heart this day help this old soul to become new
.Now I can turn everything over as I live for you .
..No im not the perfect one upon my face and soul you see .
But I know the Prison I’ve kept my heart, You’re the holder of the key!!!
I don’t know if you prayed with me but I hope you did !
This could be that inner peace you’ve sought since just a kid !
No. none of us are “perfect” but God loves us as we are .We are blessed with imperfections .Loved unconditionally near and far. As we begin to draw closer he fills us from within .
Isn’t it so great to know He is faithful and just to forgive us all our sin?
I’m so happy my choice to follow I no longer drink or dope .I am not the message but the messenger to “spread the seeds of hope!!!
In Times of trouble In times of grief when people talk about us we should know we mean something always to God we are his workmanship as Paul wrote .
Bad things happen to good people .Life isn’t always a bed of roses and sometimes as you know we make our own bed.
God is still faithful to his word unto the day!
Let them talk let them throw the dirt Just be like the old dog in the well shake it off and step up! Crawl out of the hole and use the dirt they threw to do it !
