The Road to Heaven is Narrow

It says in the Bible that the passage way to heaven is narrow, and only a few will make it. Are you planning to be one of the few? Do you try to live a good clean life? Do you have faith?

With millions of people being born each day, and equal amounts dying daily, how is it that we can get into heaven if the road is narrow. According to the bible only a select few will make it through, the narrow passageway. Christianity believes that whether you confess your sins, or accept Jesus as your savior, and by doing these actions and believing with all you heart, then you are one step closer to securing your way to heaven. Then you must truly stop and think am I so worthy of the passage, since there are so many other people out there more worthy. Are you truly trying to live sin free? Living sin free is no easy task, and only Jesus himself was able to live sin free; but he came to us, and died for us, so that thru him and our belief we can find our way to heaven.

Sin, is the word used when we do something wrong in Gods’ eyes, and when he sees us he will see our sins. How about those who break any of the Ten Commandments; are they worse than a simple lie? As hard as it is to believe, a sin is just that A SIN. I find it very difficult to wrap my mind around the fact that whether I lie, cheat, or murder; God just sees the sin, it is not separated into different levels of sin, or folders. Therefore all I must do is confess, truly repent, and accept the fact that Jesus came to earth to save us all.

Within our own self we all have the desire to be sin free, and when we continue to do good by helping others and being right in Gods’ eyes it is then that we feel contentment.  We are happy with our self, and this I believe is part of the journey we must travel, to find our self.  On would think that we would want to travel this earth, being content and happy; which is better then living guilty and sad; so is it so hard to aim to live a life avoiding sin?
