The True Meaning of Christmas

"For God so loved the world …" is one of the greatest verses in the Bible because it is very true and simple. God loved us first. God loved us, when they deserve it. The true meaning of Christmas

“For God so loved the world …” is one of the greatest verses in the Bible because it is very true and simple. God loved us first. God loved us, when they deserve it. He loved us when he turned back to Him He loved us, when abused. He loved us enough to die for us in the form of the Second Person of the Godhead, Jesus the Son. Through the centuries many people have misunderstood the reason for Jesus’ death on the cross was no accident, God had not misjudged how people would react to her son and he was not taken by surprise by it. Jesus did not die because he was weak. No one took his life from Him, because He died his father had determined that he would die so that mankind may be saved. The death of Jesus Christ was an act of supreme confidence in his father, a supreme act of self-control (by the Creator to allow the creation of beat, abuse, humiliation and murder of Him), which was filled with sweetness (healing the agent orejade the High Priest in the garden when Peter, a disciple, in a misguided effort to protect and defend Jesus, cut), with forgiveness (He prayed that his father forgive those who were abusing it and He was nailed to the cross), and, yes, with love … He could have called 10,000 angels to fight for it, defend it and take down the cross, but then mankind would not have had any hope of salvation. Where, prior to that time never was, her father told her of his plan to create children for himself that would lead to Su, Jesus own death, He could have refused, saying: “I do not want a human being; I do not want to die. If sin against us, then let them die. They deserve it. I do not. “He would be right. Humanity deserves eternal separation from God, they deserve to suffer for our rebellion (daily, every one of us) against him, who deserve to die. We, on our own, have absolutely no way at all to bridge the gap between us and God, we have created through our sin and rebellion against God … the rebellion that led to the intense pain and suffering in the world. It was not what God wanted or intended for us when He created us, but God, love us and want to love freely back dotadoscon free will. With free will we turned our backs on Him and His will for our lives, bringing suffering and death worldwide.

However, “For God so loved the world”, so that always a way out: “He gave His only begotten Son.” Gave the best treasure that heaven had to offer afin de keep humanity from hell. Her gift was offered with love and mercy: a love beyond the finite limits of human understanding. Divinity knew that in the creation of humanity, that mankind rebelled against them and that would lead to the death of Jesus on the cross, His death was no accident, it was the intention of His Father, because, no matter how much he loved his Son Jesus, He loved us and his love not only going to go without effort on your part to save us. Therefore, the Divinity adelantecon continued creation and, in the process of time, Jesus was sent to be born of a virgin named Mary, who gave birth to him in Bethlehem as the Scripture had foretold. That sweet little baby in the manger grew into loving one Son, not only to God but to their land and their parents, too carpinterocon hard work of sawdust and sweat from his forehead (it is said that in the second century, there are still some issues that are known to have been made by the hands of Jesus and his earthly father, Joseph). When God decided it was time for Jesus to leave his home and his family behind and begin to preach, He, will join his followers, hit the road and spends between 2 1 / 2 and 3 1 / 2 years as a itinerate preacher with nothing to his name and many people who wanted to kill him conspiring against him. He traveled around and taught the truth of God, healed the sick, raised the dead, fed the multitudes, he wept with the bereaved, attended parties, weddings attended, assisted by his friends and he loved. Day to day, whatever he did was motivated by love.

Should Man Live According to The Bible? »

Anything he does now is still motivated by love. The love of God is a transforming love, however, not a weakness to accept one. His love of the Father sent his Son on the cross: a love more violent than ever seen. His love is demanding: Jesus spent 40 days fasting alone in the desert rather than face the temptation of Satan. His love is holy but comforting: “Be holy as I am holy” is what He has revealed to mankind, but also says, “come to me and I will give you rest.” No matter how we sin, or how large that sin is because God’s love, grace and mercy is greater and can easily cover the sins of those who truly repent, turning from a life of sin: sin, even of those that crucified sinless Son of God through many years ago … even the sin of Saul of Tarsus, persecutor of the Christians, who, by God’s love and grace Paul became the disciple of Christ alive … even my sins (although many are) … and although yours … no matter what his sins may be or how overwhelming it may seem. God can use our rock and rebellious past to Him the glory and brings good: Romans 8: 28 promises that when he declares that “todaslas things work together for good” when “Love the Lord” and are motivated, or calling, and according to “their purposes.”

The Old Testament records how God created a perfect world for their children and, when they sinned, like the side of a village (to which Christ travésde one day), and then delivered to those people 400 years of captivity and lead them through the desert, from sea to escape and then sending food every day just to prove his love, the New Testament records how God sent a beautiful, perfect little baby to be born in poverty, raised in humble and humiliating circumstances (most everyone assumes that Jesus was an illegitimate child … it was a stigma muygrande then), to grow to join the ranks of men working, paying taxes and work for a living … so that I may one day go to the cross and prove once and for all loved so much … and how much He loves us now.

Jesus loved us enough to be born in a manger so that one day could die on the Cross. He loves us enough that when we come to it, always reaches the back. He loves us enough that He gave us His Word, the Holy Bible, so we know exactly what He wants us to do, how we live, how to please and obey him. He loves us enough to take us where we are when we turn to Him and repent of our sins and throw us in His great mercy. He loves us too, however, leave us there. His love is a transforming love and when we let Him, He transforms us into the beautiful and imagende God’s perfect Son, Jesus of Nazareth, the development within us His heart, his mind, his will, his actions, his love, His servanthood afin that then we can be His hands, feet, mouth, ears, arms and legs to die for one world and that they too may come to know His love and obey Him.

That’s what Christmas is above all: the transforming power of the cross. God loved mankind enough to get us to save even though it meant that Jesus would take the form of a human being and was born in humble circumstances, even though that meant he would live a life of poverty as a man work, even though Jesus meant he would die on the cross. God loved us enough to make your son go through all that just for us. He loves us enough today to get to us again and again, to save us from our sins, to become saints and to give us abundant life, a life that is defined not by physical wealth as well as for spiritual, old-fashioned that could become Jesus to others and love and serve as He did.
