Much too often, preachers and pastors go out into the world teaching and preaching the Word of God to everyone who is willing to hear it, but not too often do we share with others what GOD has in store for everyone who have invited the Lord Jesus Christ into their heart to be their personal Lord and Savior. Heaven is the place where the Throne of GOD is, and where the Lord Jesus Christ sits on the right hand of GOD the Father. Heaven is where all born again Christians are headed in the near future. Heaven is where our true citizenship is, and our citizenship is no longer of this present world.
The Lord Jesus Christ himself spoke about his Kingdom to come a lot throughout the New Testament scriptures. And again, GOD caught John the Apostle up in the Spirit and showed him things which are yet to come, the good and the bad, but in Revelation chapters 21 and 22, God gives the Apostle John a glimpse of the New Jerusalem a city adorn as a gift for the Bride of Christ – the Church. The things which the Apostle John saw he shared in the Holy Scriptures, so that we can also know what is to come. Of course, the only thing more beautiful and more breathtaking will be the Glorious Return of Jesus Christ in all of His Glory. I am so excited, because I hardly can’t wait to give Jesus a great big hug and see His beautiful face in person.

Amen to all of that. That is why the gospel is Good News! We don’t have to search for some other planet, the entire heaven is our real home and God Himself will provide us with new earth and indeed entire new universe when this one expires. But for me too the greatest thing of all is to be in direct presence and glory of God. I experienced it once and how I miss it! I hope to see you all there one day. I agree with you that Jesus can come for us any day now. All the signs are here.
