Note: The Book of Titus was scribed by the Apostle Paul in approximately AD 63.

The Book of Titus is one of the most important books in the entire Bible, because it gives instruction how to select Christian teachers of the word of God and how to live a godly Christian life. It is important to understand the instruction that the Holy Spirit teaches us through his servant the Apostle Paul, what God requires of a Christian teacher of his word. Why? Because, choosing a teacher of the Word of God not according to the instruction given by God, but by man’s way will only setup a teacher that will teach not the things of God, but the things of man. Things of man lead to destruction and death, but the things of God leads to truth and life more abundantly.

In the first chapter of the Book of Titus, God speaking through his servant Paul the Apostle lay out the standard and the character of a teacher of the word of God. In the second chapter of the Book of Titus, we learn what God expects from the aged men and women and how to raise their children unto all things that becometh holiness. Likewise, shall all of the believers and followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, our great God and Savior, be sober and keepers of the faith which is in Jesus Christ. The third chapter of the Book of Titus instructs the children of God through the shedding of grace through the Lord Jesus Christ, how to treat one another and how to treat those that we meet that may not know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. The third chapter of Titus is important to learn and to practice according to the instruction that God our Father teaches us, because how too often have we treated those of the world and not of God, as they have so often treated us. We as the children of God through the Precious Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ should not act as the world does toward us, but as our Savior Jesus Christ has shown to us, we should also do toward them that treat us with contempt, but not contempt with contempt, but we should show our love toward them that hate us, because they first hated him (the Lord Jesus Christ) who sent us out into the world to share his love toward them by the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Please take a few minutes to listen to the Book of Titus and to learn what our Heavenly Father is teaching us to live and to do, both toward our brethren in the Lord Jesus Christ and to them that do not know him.
