The life we live basically is it generally genuine or just religious, we just do some things because we have seen others do them or it has being a practice of time past, have we ever considered what we really do? Is it possible for one to live each second of his life for God?
The life we live can be for God, no matter where we are and what we do, living our day to day lives for God seems really impossible the basic fact still stands its possible. Some few thoughts go on in our minds like is God really within the parties I attend? His is presence with us in a fight or in an argument? Or when we have a crush on someone or probably we are in love with someone? The answer is yes God is ever present He made the earth so he would like to see the day to day happing in it.
For an individual to have an intimacy with God one has to be born again, accepting the fact Christ died and he believes in Christ’s resurrection and death, and some other few process and we are thereby believed to be born again, some people believe by attending church services one is born again, well that is not really true. For example there are some groups of people who do things together, for anyone to join them one has to make a confession, if a new individual shows up, he helps with stuffs, he goes out with them and he also behaves like them. To people around they may see him as a member but to the leader and the members he is not a member because he has not gone through the normal processes to become a member. So is the same with God’s kingdom no matter how nice and well behaved one is the guarantee that one is a son of God is not sure.
The lame man believes anyone that goes to church on Sunday or week days is a Christian or anyone that says his religion is Christianity is a Christian. Christianity is a way of life, living like Christ, His life is the perfect example in which we children of God to should act, and it is not a religion.
Religion in Greek means “superstitious”, the meaning of superstition the noun in English means – belief in magic, witchcraft and other strange powers. Living for God does not contain any religious act it’s just you and God that’s all, no substance will get you closer to God than the Bible. Prayer is defined as communication with God and us, we should feel free to talk to God at any time of the day, which means one is communicating with God indirectly that means one is praying, so praying should not only be at a particular time of the day, praying at a particular time will involve asking a particular request which are not really asked at normal times.
When Jesus was with his disciples he said he will pray the father that he will give us another comforter (John 14: 16) who is the Holy Spirit and so many functions attached to the Spirit (John 14: 16 – 26), when we are led by the Spirit of God we are thereby called the sons of God (Romans 8: 14) (Galatians 3:26). When we become sons of God so many things begin to happen we are no longer bondservants (Galatians 4:5-7), we have the liberty to perform signs and wonders in the name of Jesus, and we can look the devil in his face and bind him and so many more. We have to work really close with God to hear His every word for us because we are chosen to become the sons of God.
True spirituality is basically getting everything right; to be true to God we have to be born again, we do not have a true life style to really emulate then we tend to live like Christ he was kind, obedient, trust worthy, loving, generous, merciful, gentle, patient, loving the Lord God with a passion and many more. All this characteristics are human behaviours in which we can practice; Jesus once again had a perfect lifestyle he prayed to God during hard times, he thanked Him when all things were alright, and we should learn from his way of living that’s why the disciples of Jesus were called Christians in Antioch (Acts 11: 26). In the sight of God we are called the sons of God (Galatians 3:26), (Romans 9:26).
