This religious belief was first started out by a guy named Charles Fillmore in 1889 in Kansas City Missouri with its headquarters in unity village Missouri. The people who believe and practice this belief use books entitled lessons in truth, bible dictionary unity magazine, and what they call a bible with hidden meanings within it. These people also believe God is interchangeable with principle, law, being, mind, and spirit. God is considered to be everything in this belief and no trinity the spirit is reality and matter is not.

This belief teaches that Jesus was just a man and not the Christ and that this man had Christ consciousness. Also taught is that Christ is a state of perfection in every person and that Jesus had lived many times before in search of his own salvation. According to this belief Jesus did not die as a sacrifice for anyone’s sins, rise from the dead, and will never return to earth in a physical form.

The Holy Spirit is considered to be the law of God in action and power of both father and son a thought in the mind of man. These people believe that they are sons of God and there is no evil, sin, no old age, no poverty, and no devil. A person keeps getting reincarnated until he or she learns these truths and becomes perfect.  This belief also teaches death is a result of wrong thinking and no real heaven or hell.

This belief just like Wicca, new age, and scientology all have Jesus included as a small part of what they believe. They all know of Jesus but all reject him as the one and only savior who can save them from eternity in a real hell.
