What Causes Rainbows

Rainbows A Beautiful Spectrum of Colours.

I love rainbows and have had the privilege of seeing many.

And one I saw an amazing double rainbow.

I always feel happy and thankful whenever I see one.

Rainbows are an arch of colours formed in the sky.

Reflections and refractions and a dispersion of the suns rays.

Seen in rain or mist or reflected in drops or bodies of water.

A rainbow spans a continuous spectrum of colours and sometimes,

many have been seen.

For the normal human eye the most common sequence is;

red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

In history rainbows have been explained scientifically by,

Scholars , philosophers and physicists.

They have been mentioned in mythology and religion.

They usually mention some connection from God to Humans.

But I believe it is a sign from God after Noah’s Flood.

In Genesis 9:13-17;

God has given us a forever promise he will never destroy,

 the earth with a  flood.

I believe he made the world so it was easy for him to,

put into effect everything needed to make rainbows.
