and gave gifts unto men.

Because, “unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.”

The Bible tells about Jesus ascending into Heaven and the Holy Spirit descending to empower all believers.

Everything about our lives is a gift from God.  The breath we breath, our dreams and visions, and the strength to work all come to us as divine gifts.  Even the faith to believe in Christ and to respond to His grace is a gift from on high.

Through the Holy Spirit, Christ provides us with a variety of Spiritual Gifts that enable us to love and serve each other and the world, emulating the ways in which Christ loves and serves us.

By conscientiously ministering these gifts to our family members, friends, co-workers, and others in the community, we not only experience God’s grace more fully for ourselves, but we also bear witness to the world that Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
