Have you ever found yourself in a place so dark that no amount of manmade light is able to brighten up your day?
Have you ever been in a situation so complicated that even words from people that matter don’t make you feel better?
Have you ever sown good seeds only to harvest a cycle of calamities?
Have you ever watched people you treasure walked out on you because they believe you are a failure?
Have you ever given your best only to get the worst results out of life?
Have you ever being in a situation where you only wish for the least things of life in place of having nothing at all?
Have you ever loved someone and that someone doesn’t love you back?
Have you ever had faith so great and then lose it only to beg God to help you get it back?
Have you ever had troubles that you thought would end within seconds, but eventually extended into hours, and then days, and weeks, and months, and years?
Have you ever watched people that are not gifted as you are excel rapidly while you remain stagnant and miserable in your wilderness?
Have you ever screamed to the heavens in tears asking if God is still there?
Have you ever doubted God’s goodness?
Have you ever doubted God’s existence?
Have you ever waited for a raven to come and feed you only to get fierce looking cockroaches in return?
Have you ever wondered where your next meal would come from when you don’t even have a means of taking care of your present?
Have you ever caught a massive net filled with fish and shout to the heavens for the victory only to have the net break?
Have you ever been betrayed by the ones you always thought had your back?
Have you ever experienced any, or the entire have you ever mentioned above?
If you have, then you truly know firsthand what it is like to hurt. When it hurts, you call on God, if it appears He is not there, keep calling on Him, and still if nothing happens, if it appears that He is getting even farther from your cries, never lose hope because help is on the way. Remember this, help is on the way! The Most High God will not only give you victory in due time, He will also restore you. The joy you will come to know will overshadow the pains you ever experienced, and best of all, you will be a living witness to God’s goodness, mercies and loving kindness. Cheer up, He loves you.

Holding on to our faith is hardest when we see those without faith prospering all around us. This is a great write, and gives us much to think about.
