Where is God?

For non-believers or for those who deny or doubt the existence of GOD, the only plausible answer they can put forth to the question about the whereabouts of GOD is such that God is found in the human mind or the human brain. They are of the conviction that GOD does not exist. He is a mere idea. On that basis, GOD is only a figment of imagination of the human mind. It follows then that the place where GOD can be located is the human brain that science insists with finality as the “seat of the intellect”.

DOMINUS VOBISCUM!

Whew! It’s a Friday night once again. It is gimmick time. Time to unwind and shelve the stress of a hectic and demanding profession. Two to three hours of  a good laugh with friends, few renditions of nostalgic songs from a bygone era, a luscious dinner and half  dozen mugs of favorite beer is much anticipated. I arrived early at the Videoke Garden Grill Restaurant, the group’s favorite hang-out, to await the arrival of the three other frolickers. I have not positioned myself well on the wooden Molave seat that I took when text messages came in succession. My three friends cannot come for various reasons. I opted to drive for home and leave the favorite garden.

At home, I contented myself in the comforts of the well-lighted garden. I opened a bottle of cognac and took sips while scanning the scrapbooks of my three young daughters that happen to be on the round marble table in front of me. The pictures and the notes each of the three wrote amused me. My eldest daughter’s favorite actor is a comedian. The other preferred a cartoon character while the other one’s favorite was a regular villain. Through it all, they have a common favorite place: the mall’s artificial garden.

Before sleeping, I decided to open the scrapbook of God, the Holy Bible. I do not do it on a regular basis. I just felt I had to reinforce my spirit by reviewing the favorite hobby of God which is to create with the spoken word and then I searched painstakingly for His other favorites. As a Person, He must have favorites too. Upon His visitation in the divine Person of  the Son of Man, all the women He favored had only a single name. It was Mary. The “blessed among women”  came by the name of Mary. A former adulteress who loved Him dearly and whom He rescued from certain death by stoning was also named Mary. The indolent woman whom He defended from the tantrums of her irate sister was named Mary.

On the matter of favorite place, God cannot be outdone. He has one also. The following passages lifted from none other than the Sacred Scriptures will confirm his favorite place:

God planted a garden in Eden in the east and there He placed Man whom He had created. (Genesis 2:8)

After this discourse, Jesus went out with his disciples across the Kidron Valley. There was a garden there, and he and his disciples entered it. The place was familiar to Judas as well because Jesus had often met there with his disciples. (John 18:1-2)

In the place where he had been crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had ever been buried. (John 19:41)

It is readily understood then from the preceding Biblical text that God’s favorite place is the garden so much so that even a severely distraught Mary Magdalene sobbing profusely near the tomb entrance mistook the Resurrected Christ for a gardener (John 20:15) until she heard the voice that changed her life for all eternity. The garden is the favorite place of God because it is in a garden where the things that He and only He can create are present. It is in a garden where He resides and wields His absolute authority. It is in the Garden of Eden or Paradise where He is found!

Needless to say, the human brain is a part of the human body confined inside the skull of the human person. The mindset of the atheists and non-believers is simple. To them, GOD is a mere thought. GOD is a grand concept. GOD is only an innovative idea. God is a concocted divinity.

No human person in its proper senses, whether atheist or believer, will contest or dispute the fact that infants, toddlers and adolescents or adults born mental retardates are human beings. Deaf and mute persons are also human persons. They all possess human brains the gross anatomy of which do not differ much with the brains of Albert Einstein, Adolf Hitler or Charlie Chaplin. Yet, the thought or concept of GOD forwarded and propounded by intelligent and scholarly atheists and non-believers is nowhere to be found in the human minds of the deaf and mute, the infants, toddlers, and adults that are congenital mental retardates like the mongoloids. They hardly know who they are. How then can they conceptualize, hypothesize or theorize GOD? By logical deduction then, the believable blatant absurdity forwarded as gospel truth by non-believers and atheists that GOD does not exist and is just a mere idea or concept of the human mind is pure trash talk or hallucination. It is an idea that belongs to the incinerator. It is comically distasteful giving it a thought.

“My kingdom is not this world”

The divine person who is God just came down for a visit then later on ascended to the garden: the Garden of Eden where He reigns and stays forever.

Peace to everyone!
