Why There Should Not be Equal Rights for Gays

There is a time when we must examine the morality of the situation.

More often than not, the issue of “Gay Rights” is in the news.  What does all of this mean?  Basically, a group of people that have rebelled against the moral views of society now seek approval from the government for their actions.  However, we need to break this down a little more.

What are the moral views of the issue?  “Leviticus chapter 20, verse 13 ‘ If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”   In most religions homosexuality is viewed as a sin, and the formation of most moral beliefs are based upon religion.

Yet, as people step away from religion, the also turn away from the morality that once guided humanity.  People fill the void that religion once filled by reaching out to the vices of society, alcohol, drugs, homosexuality, gangs, and domestic violence.  The only difference in those few groups is that the homosexual community has gained “social acceptance”.

What is this “Social Acceptance”?  Well that is when the majority of a society accepts a person or minority group into mainstream culture.  Once this occurs, if the ideas or actions of a group are considered immoral, they are then accepted and by that justified.  Thus, what was once wrong, become a normal part of society.  However, this by NO MEANS gives it morality.

For thousands of years, marriage has been between a man and a woman.  Now a group of people want to change that.  Should it be done?  No.  To sanction such an abomination is not the place of any government.  No person or body has the right over turn The Word of God.  Even if God is taken out of the question, it is still not correct for people to undermine centuries of tradition and belief.

Biologically, people are designed to live, procreate and die.  Now in a same sex union, the biological urge to reproduce cannot be fulfilled therefore, the act goes against the biology of human nature.  Additionally, homosexuality can be related to a choice rooted in the psychosis of the person.  Most of the time, the choice could be traced back to a point in the person’s childhood.

More over, there have been those that have argued that it is a genetic condition, but that is not the case.  The DNA of a person does determine the sex and there are only two possibilities.  Man and Woman.  Man is driven to produce offspring and women are designed to be the mothers of that offspring.  When a person pursues a “Sex Change Operation” they are merely violating themselves in order to become something that they cannot.  One cannot change their DNA.

Recently a couple of the Homosexual Persuasion attained a Marriage License under false pretenses in New York.  These people lied about their identity in order to attempt to gain the status of a married couple.  First of all, their marriage is null and void.  But more should be done.  They should be prosecuted for fraud.  Perhaps a little time in solitary confinement might change their way of thinking.  Secondly, this is a form of revolt against the government procedures.  It would do the nation good to make an example out of the two.

Additionally, in most states, Sodomy is Illegal.  Therefore, sexual relations between Two People Of The Male Gender is Illegal.  This law should be enforced more readily.  Our laws are derived from our religious beliefs and we should define the morality of a situation within our highest of laws.  Sex Changes and Same Sex Partnerships, should be defined as ILLEGAL.  And those laws should be strictly enforced.

Morality does not come from religion. Those who think it does DO NOT HAVE any morality. Morality comes naturally to some of us, and those who need it spelled out for them in a book apparently lack that natural ability. This is very dangerous, for when that book tells them to violate the natural rights of others, to kill or to rape or to take slaves or to burn cities to the ground, they don\’t see how very evil their actions are.

    A couple of other points:

Many cultures throughout history have not followed the marriage = 1 man 1 woman equation. To define marriage as such is a redefinition in itself, and YOU do not have the right to change it to that.

There are well more than two possibilities for genetic sex (XX, XY, XO, XXY, XXX, XYY), plus sometimes someone\’s genetic sex is the opposite of their anatomical sex due to abnormal hormone production in prenatal development. Many transsexual individuals fall into one of these categories, thus they are simply trying to be what they ARE and stop being what they are not.

Your religious beliefs should not determine society\’s morality, and society\’s morality should only be allowed to limit personal decisions in order to protect people from significant harms. Murder, rape, burglary… these things cause harm to others, thus societal morality should take precedence and make them illegal. Consensual relationships between homosexual adults do not harm people any more than consensual relationships between heterosexual adults. Therefore if one is to be banned, so should the other.

This “article” is so riddled with falsehoods, lies, bs, and outright fantasy that it isn’t even worth commenting on.

The naive and gullible might believe such tripe, but then, most people who follow a religion, if not all of them, are naive and gullible.

Naivete and gullibility do not form the basis of the law in the United States. Christians and other ignorant zombies should take note of that truth.

Rock on. I totally get what you are saying. Go with nature! Down with homosexuals, single people, married couples who choose not to have children, women/men who CANNOT procreate for medical reasons, adoption should TOTALLY be illegal (raising kids that aren’t your own? NOT NATURE’S WAY.)

Also, I’m with you on not changing your DNA…I think we should make illegal the following: glasses, hair dye, makeup, bandaids, clothing (um, we weren’t born with it! DUH! so morally corrupt), plastic surgery of all kind. You know what, let’s just do away with medicine all together! if a person get’s sick, that’s nature’s way.

And most importantly, don’t forget about SHELLFISH!!! The Lord named them an abomination too. RED LOBSTER IS A DEN OF SIN AND SHOULD BE BURNED TO THE GROUND.

Thank you for bringing sanity back to the world wide web.

F**K you and your backwards morals.
If gays don’t deserve equal rights then why do minoritys like African Americans, and Mexicans deserve them.
God loves all, and he discriminates no one.
Love is love no matter who it’s between and Gays deserve the right to marry.

If you are going to quote Leviticus and say that something must be this way because it is written by Leviticus, then you MUST take the rest of his \”laws\” as truth and deviation from them an abomination. So…..

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God\’s Law. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the specific laws and how to follow them.

    a) When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev. 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

    b) I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in
Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

    c) I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev. 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

    d) Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighbouring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can\’t I own Canadians?

    e) I have a neighbour who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obliged to kill him myself?

    f) A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an
abomination (Lev. 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than
homosexuality. I don\’t agree. Can you settle this?

    g) Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

    h) Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?

    i) I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

    j) My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two
different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? (Lev. 24:10-16) Couldn\’t we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help. Thank you again for reminding us that God\’s word is eternal and unchanging. Your devoted disciple and adoring fan.

(The above was written on the internet to Dr. Laura Schlessinger who quoted Leviticus to back her claims that being gay is immoral…. )

Many people are gay or homosexual. There are even gay types in animal populations. I believe this helps over-population for they cannot reproduce. We are told that G-d is the only judge. Love the sinner and hate the sin.My cousin is gay and I love him. He is kind, helpful and does not try to force his views on others. he has only one partner. We each have a cross to bear in this life. Some are thieves. Some are murderers.Let us leave judgment to G-d for all must give an account of their gift of life to the Creator.
