Why We Have to Respect a Priest

A priest isn’t just an ordinary person but someone who talks to us or helps us through God. A priest can also do things that we normal people can’t because they have earned the position, they can do Marriage’s, Baptism’s and Burial’s.

A priest always belongs to or is a part of a community and they play an important role in that community because they’re the ones that run the church and do the church ceremonies for us and the priest might organize some nuns to come and teach us in Sunday classes and if we don’t behave to the nuns they would go and tell the priest and he would come and talk to us, but if it happens a second time the priest might get angry and quite and go to a different church to do all his ceremonies and we would be the ones missing out because we don’t have a priest to organize anything, do the ceremonies or teach us about Jesus.

A church community without a priest wouldn’t be a community as the priest is needed to do practically everything from running the church or ending it.

If you play around or talk during a church prayer or during religion while the priest is trying to teach us and we don’t respect or ignore him, that’s like if we are doing all that stuff to God.

When we act around in religion the priest might get angry and decide not to teach us and just give us essay writing or worksheets after worksheets to complete for the whole lesson without understanding or knowing what to do.

A priest is someone we have to respect because they aren’t just a person but someone that can help us through God or forgive our sins through God, Bless us through God and teach us through God.

We don’t only respect them because of that stuff but because they are older than us and in a higher position of leadership and authority, if we respect our parents, teachers, friends and family why not respect a priest that talks to us through Christ.
