God has called us to succeed and prosper in all aspect of our lives and in everything that we do on this planet earth.
We as Christians cannot serve God and lose, because he promised in Philippians 4:19 to supply all our needs according to his riches and glory in Christ Jesus.
I tasted suffering and neglect during the early stages of my life and through out my teenage days.
This is because my biological father left my mother for her to bring me up alone. In fact, I never knew who my father was until I turned twenty two that I set my eyes on that crazy father of mine. I was embittered because of all that I went through as a result of his rejection.
But, the Lord told me during a quiet time that, had it not been this reason, I wouldn’t have known him better. That is why the Psalmist said “……Thou art the helper of the father less.”
Beloved in Christ, what I am trying to establish here is that God does a better job by fathering us than our biological parents. God takes responsibility to act as a father to those who by unfortunate circumstances of life are denied that kind of privilege.
If I had my father around, I wouldn’t have trusted God so much as I do today. I wouldn’t have put my confidence in the Lord in the first place that he could help me go to school and pass my examinations.
My painful background helped me to develop a strong and healthy relationship with him as he became all that my earthly father could have been for me.
Beloved, you may be going through the same situation I went through, but just cheer up and wipe your tears because there is a great joy coming in the morning according to the book of Psalms.
You can prosper in life if you obey God’s word and practice his basic principles. All that you need to do is to position yourself strategically in the will of God and observe his teachings in the Bible and believe you me that you will experience his prosperity in abundance.
Before you became a Christian, you went astray, doing things in your own ways; struggling and hoping for the best in all endeavors of your life, but all efforts to prosper failed.
You failed because you did not ask God to direct your steps to take the right decisions.
Our Heavenly Father God is rich so he would make us rich too. You can only prosper if you devote time for his teachings and learn to serve him.
He said in Psalm 23 that “He is our shepherd and we shall not be in want,” because he is the great provider.
Another important principle that you must keep through out your Christian life in order to prosper is that develop the habit of “Giving to the Church to expand God’s Kingdom.”
You must give to support God’s activities in the Church, so that the Lord would bless you a thousand times what you gave out.
Christians of this generation always ask from God but they don’t give to support God’s work in the Church.
They prefer to sit on their tithes and offerings and put them in the bank rather than giving to the Church.
When you give for the expansion of the Church, you would attain a hundred thousand times what you gave out. This is due to the fact that “Givers never lack.”
Galatians 6:7 – 9 says “Be not deceived, God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, so shall he reap. For he that soweth in the flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption: but he that soweth to the spirit reap life everlasting and let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
God will make you prosperous and your enemies shall see you and hide themselves. God said he wished above all things that we may prosper as our soul prospers.
Dear reader in Christ, I leave you with this prayer and believe in God that he will make you successful.
“Dear Lord God, thank you so much for the power of your word that I will prosper in life. As I observe your teachings and principles, Lord please let me prosper abundantly. Poverty! I don’t belong to you. I belong to the Rich family of God’s Kingdom. Lack!! You are not my portion this year; leave me now in the mighty name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus, I receive abundant prosperity this year.
Father Lord God, thank you so much for blessing me; Guide me and help me to obey you in Jesus name I pray. Amen…”
