Three friends go on a pilgrimage to Manas-sarovar and camped there. One of them was a photographer and said his friends that he’ll wake up early and take some photos of the mountain. The next day he left before sunrise and went missing. A search party found his body in a cave. They noticed that ‘Ram‘ was tattooed on his arm in Devanagari script. They also noticed that his camera was broken and he has removed his jacket and dropped his flashlight at the entrance of the cave.
Three months later when the photos were developed, his friends and family members realised what happened.
One photo showed that there was a hermit sitting there and the next showed that he’s gone (shot 7 seconds after the first). After that there was a photo of lord hanuman. He had three books next to him and he was reading one. The background was brighter and lord hanuman looked older. There is a on the net tagged as the real photo but it is a painting.
My explanation of lord hanuman’s photo being shot is that he did not get moksh in the satyug and will get it after the kalyug and wanted people to believe in god. I think he was reading the Vedas to pass his time.
