The caste system is a system of which the Hinduism religion divides the people of India into different social status. These social statuses depend on which caste you are born into. But Hinduism believes in reincarnation. The Indian people believe that a person is reincarnated into a caste based on there karma in there past lives. The ultimate goal is to reach Brahman. The top caste members in the Hindu religion are the Kings, Princes, Queens, Emperors, and highest of all the Priests. The Priests are believed to be basically one level a way from Brahman. The lowest caste members are the people of the caste of the untouchables. The untouchables are the people that clean bathrooms, servants, slaves, and the people of all of the other disgusting jobs that you may think of. The untouchables are not allowed to drink from the same place as the high caste members. They are also not allowed to enter the same places, they have to bow at there feet, take of there shoes as they pass, and many other UN honorable things. I hope this was informational and you enjoyed it.
