Islam is the acceptance of and obedience of the teachings of God which He revealed to His last Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him).
What does Islam really teach us we shall look at the first chapter of the Holy Quran:
1. In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, 2. Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; 3. Most Gracious, Most Merciful; 4. Master of the Day of Judgment. 5. Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. 6. Show us the straight way, 7. The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.(Chapter 1:1-7)
The first chapter is basically praising God and asking God for guidance, this is what muslims recite everyday five times a day at different time intervals. So what is this guidance? What is the whole essence of the Quran.
Here are some of the verses of chapter 2:
1. A.L.M. 2. This is the Book; In it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah. 3. Who believe In the Unseen, are steadfast In prayer, and spend out of what we have provided for them; 4. And who believe In the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before Thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter. 5. They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper. 6. As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether Thou warn them or do not warn them; They will not believe. 7. Allah hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a veil; great is the penalty They (incur). 8. Of the people there are some who say: “We believe In Allah and the Last Day;” but They do not (really) believe. 9. Fain would They deceive Allah and those who believe, but They only deceive themselves, and realise (it) not! 10. In their hearts is a disease; and Allah has increased their disease: and grievous is the penalty They (incur), because They are false (to themselves). 11. When it is said to them: “Make not mischief on the earth,” They say: “Why, we only Want to make peace!” (Chapter 2:1-11).
The guidance is described in verses above. The 11Th verse where it says “Make not mischief on the earth,” They say: “Why, we only Want to make peace!”
According to this verse muslims are not allowed to make mischief otherwise they would be included in the people which verse 8 describes. Whoever is making mischief is not a muslim. So what is happening around the world and why do muslims get the blame?
lets go to back 8 years from now to the year 2001 September the 11Th
As most of us know by now science explains to us that 9/11 was a big drama.
Invasion in Afghanistan? Was because; we still don’t know?
Now lets go a little close to our present time of the year; year 2003, invasion of Iraq? Was because of weapons of mass destruction, how come they didn’t find it?
So who is actually causing the mischief, well find that soon. If a muslim such as in Iraq gets to see the horrific scene of his family members being slaughtered right in front of his eyes, as human he would react, and “probably” blow him self up to end his sorrow. So this is where the news casters jump in reporting a “terrorist attack”
I believe this would have never happened if his family members weren’t killed?
We should look at the root cause and not the products of the root cause.
Islam A Religion of Peace?
Qur’an:9:5 “Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.”
Qur’an:9:112 “The Believers fight in Allah’s Cause, they slay and are slain, kill and are killed.”
Qur’an:9:29 “Fight those who do not believe until they all surrender, paying the protective tax in submission.”
Qur’an:8:39 “So fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief [non-Muslims]) and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (in the whole world).”
Ishaq:587 “Our onslaught will not be a weak faltering affair. We shall fight as long as we live. We will fight until you turn to Islam, humbly seeking refuge. We will fight not caring whom we meet. We will fight whether we destroy ancient holdings or newly gotten gains. We have mutilated every opponent. We have driven them violently before us at the command of Allah and Islam. We will fight until our religion is established. And we will plunder them, for they must suffer disgrace.”
Qur’an:9:123 “Fight the unbelievers around you, and let them find harshness in you.”
Qur’an:2:193 “Fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief) and religion is only for Allah. But if they cease/desist, let there be no hostility except against infidel disbelievers.”
Qur’an:61:4 “Surely Allah loves those who fight in His Cause.”
Qur’an:4:74 “Let those who fight in Allah’s Cause sell this world’s life for the hereafter. To him who fights in Allah’s Cause, whether he is slain or victorious, We shall give him a reward.”
Qur’an:4:76 “Those who believe fight in the Cause of Allah.”
Qur’an:4:94 “Believers, when you go abroad to fight wars in Allah’s Cause, investigate carefully, and say not to anyone who greets you: ‘You are not a believer!’ Coveting the chance profits of this life (so that you may despoil him). With Allah are plenteous spoils and booty.”
Qur’an:2:216″Jihad (holy fighting in Allah’s Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims), though you dislike it. But it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and like a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knows, and you know not.” [Another translation reads:] “Warfare is ordained for you.”

With all due respect, I would like to kindly suggest that you study the life of the Prophet Muhammed Peace be upon him in detail from the correct sources. Yes, indeed these verses are in the Quran and do talk about fighting but they have been quoted out of context. To understand the context of these verses you’ll have to understand the life of the Prophet Muhammed Peace be upon him and when and where these verses were revealed and why. I would like to give you a brief outline on the Prophet\’s life.
For 13 years when Prophet Muhammed was in Makkah, none of these verses were revealed. All he asked the people was to worship THE One and Only True God (Allah). The One who Created the Heavens and the Earth, The God of Adam, The God Abraham, The God of Moses and The God of Jesus (Peace be Upon them All). Due to this simple message, the idol worshipers (the disbelievers in Makkah) persecuted Mohammed (Peace be upon him) and his followers (the Companions of the Prophet peace be upon them). When the persecution increased Allah (The Lord of the Universe and all that exists) ordered Prophet Muhammed (Peace Be Upon Him) to migrate to Madina with his followers and establish an Islamic State there.

Respected Sir, I am assuming that you’re a Christian and are well versed in the Lord\’s Prayer which contains a statement that says, \”Thy KINGDOM come, Thy shall be done on EARTH as art in HEAVEN\”
Indeed, Islam “IS” God\’s true religion (and all the Prophets submitted their will to the One True GOD). Adam submitted his will to God, Noah submitted his will to God and all the other Prophets (Peace be Upon Them All) submitted their will to God. Meaning they were all Muslims (those who submit their will to God). And, Indeed, Islam IS a religion of peace but for that peace to prevail on the land (earth) Allah revealed these verses of fighting as a last resort. Without a doubt, Allah (God) does not like fighting, but since Man Made laws (democracy, communism, capitalism etc.) can never do justice to us humans and cause oppression on a global scale, God the All Mighty has ordained fighting against those who oppose peace, just to prevent the greater evil of oppression and injustice. As we know God is THE MOST JUST THE MOST WISE. He is THE ONE Who created us and therefore is the ONLY ONE Who knows what’s BEST for His CREATION. Thus true peace (what the world is seeking) can only prevail on earth by implementing GOD’S LAW (Shariah). I’m sure you’ve heard the word “Shariah” before in the media but sadly it is presented in a negative way. Unfortunately, there is no Islamic State in the world today. There might be Muslim countries but none of them have implemented the LAWS OF GOD completely (100%), actually not even 20%.
I would like to recommend reading about the life of the Prophet Muhammed Peace be upon Him along with his establishment of the Islamic State in Madinah before his death; and also the Islamic history after him till the collapse of the Ottomon Empire, from the correct Islamic sources.
When one puts things in the correct place or looks at them from the correct perspective, only then will they make sense ….
The Word of God does not contradict itself….
Quran is God’s Final Testament and God promised us to Protect it Himself from corruption. It was revealed to Prophet Muhamed May Allah’s peace and Blessings be upon Him in the Arabic Language… And the Miracle of this ERA is that the Quran we have with us is in its ORIGINAL language (Arabic) and its ORIGINAL TEXT TILL THIS DAY; and it’s going to stay that way till the DAY OF JUDGEMENT. Thus God has not left us empty handed without a means to salvation, justice and world peace.
God Almighty states in the Quran: “We have, without doubt, sent down the Message and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).” (Surah Hijr verse 9)
In reality, for us Muslims, it is an article of Faith to believe that the Bible (given to Prophet Jesus Peace be upon him) and the Torah (given to Prophet Moses Peace be upon him) WERE the Word of God, the Quran clearly states that. But Allah (God) also states in the Quran that people have changed the Bible and the Torah; that’s why you see so many contradictions within them.
Allah states in the Quran:
“Therefore, woe to those who distort the scripture with their own hands, then say, ‘This is what GOD has revealed,’ seeking a cheap material gain. Woe to them for such distortion, and woe to them for their illicit gains.” (Quran Surah Baqarah Chapter 2 verse 79)
I would propose to search Islam from the correct sources as there are still many that wish to distort the truth as did the past generations who disbelieved in the Prophets and Messengers (Peace Be Upon Them All).

Point to be noted: Islam condemns suicide bombings and killing the innocent. Allah (God) says in the Quran in Surah Maidah Chapter 5 verse 32:
“On that account We ordained for the Children of Isra`il that if any one slew a person – unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land – it would be as if he slew the whole humanity: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the whole humanity. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear (guidance), yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.)”
Those who kill cannot be either Muslim or Christian. They are Just Murderers.
