Islam-The very name gives a stern look to so many people worldwide. Why? There’s a lot to it.
Start with the basics:
Islam is the second biggest religion in the world, second to Christianity, and it is the number one fastest growing religion with millions of loyal followers in almost every single corner of the world, with the addition of even more converts. These followers are called Muslims.
In Islam, there are so many different aspects and requirements, but in the end, it seems so simple. As many have said before, Islam is not only a religion, it’s a way of life, you don’t just go to church one day of the week and then forget about everything else the rest of the week. Being a Muslim does not only mean you believe you in God (Allah) but it means you will focus your life around Islam. The way you eat, sleep, marry; everything is different. But it is all for the better.
Islam was founded back about 1400 years ago, by Muhammed (peace be upon him). It is said that he is the best human being on the face of this planet. He is kind, understanding, peaceful, and so many other unique characteristics. He does not wish for anyone’s harm, even for his enemies. He is the ultimate role model for all of mankind. This is who Muslims look up to, and who they try to be.
Now today, despite the fact of the numbers of Muslims, the quality is being less and less presentable. The figure of a Muslim is fading away, mixing with the Western Society. However, they are still treated as the underclass in society. People insult them, call them “terrorists”, despite the fact that they are quite the opposite. They are actually the victims of terror.
Muslims are very humble, sincere, and of course with everything, there are some exceptions. It is not fair they get treated the way they are. A few Muslims with bad intentions shouldn’t justify the mass execution of them. Same way in school, if there are a few students in class being disruptive, that does not mean the entire class should get punished. But this is how it is.
What is mentioned in this little passage is meant for people to understand, and to make effort to change. You cannot effective argue against something, no matter how much you think you’re right, if you do not look at the other side of the arguement. It’s essential to see things from the other point of view. Perhaps more people can at least understand.
