In the history of Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School, the education and instruction are two important elements of the institution to actualize its aim, vision and mission.
These two basically organized, managed and controlled by certain departments based on the school authority.
The second element above, to some extent, mainly related to an academic activity which focused its dynamism on the teaching program. As far as the institution is concerned, the teaching activities are carried out by Islamic Teachers Training College (ITTC) which then called as an institution responsible to develop and improve the academic qualies. To realies and achieve this aim, the institution undertook various programs and activities in the duration of one year.
In one time ITTC held a workshop on the system of Mu’allimin (Islamic School teachers training) to improve its human resources learning quality. This school program was participated by the guardians of Gontor Affiliated schools and some alumni. Among other school programs to actualize this aim, include standardization of school exam. In this regard, the school principal personally directed the prossess of marking system for all classes.
