Muhammad: An Islam-ish Jesus?

Muhammad has a huge following of people for being a nut case, let’s take a look at his life and how he rose to power and what did he do to earn the title "Savior"? Is he even comparable to Jesus?

Muhammad, the last and greatest prophet, was sent to humanity by God…

You’re probably thinking right now, “This is just another nut case who believes in Islam?” I was just reading information about Muhammad from a website I was looking at. Sometimes they are not always correct.  A lot of people usually do not have any idea of who Muhammad is and what he did. I will tell you.

Muhammad grew up without his real parents. His father died two months before he was born and his mother died when he was six. Muhammad was then taken care of by his grandfather, who, ended up dieing two years later. Finally, his uncle ended up taking care of him. Muhammad grew up learning the trade of the merchants. When he got older, he became chief merchant and took over the business. Soon after that, Muhammad married. After marriage, he spent a lot of time in a cave near Mecca, his home town. There he, supposedly, received the divine message from the Archangel Gabriel. Once he had converted his wife and his servant, he went to the cave and stayed there for another two years. After four years had passed, Muhammad began telling his fellow countrymen of his experiences and how God gave him the Koran. Once he told everyone of his plan to overthrow their idols they tried to kill him but he escaped to Medina with his family and eight-seven converts. Once he converted the whole city, he assembled an army and went back to Mecca to conquer the city. All that Muhammad did was force Islam over everyone. If they did not accept it, Muhammad executed them.

According to the Koran, Muhammad persuaded more people to believe in one true God and any other prophet. One thing I find interesting is that whenever a true savior comes, most people do not acknowledge Him. Instead, a lot people acknowledge a random dude, who can not truly do any miracles such as raising from the dead or healing physical disabilities, but can only execute people when they disagree with him.

Remember that the Koran was written by Muhammad in a cave. So Muhammad is going to make himself seem righteous and holy. The Bible was written differently. The apostles wrote and performed miracles in public as opposed to in a cave.

With much blood sweat and tears put into this research, I finally concluded that the following is what Muhammad did to deserve the title of “savior”: he spoke to everyone about Allah, he led his followers in wars and raids, he was beaten by pagan Arabs, and then died from eating a poisoned goat. Even though Muhammad’s body was tested by the ancient doctors and he was announced to be officially dead, the half of Muslims did not believe the ancient doctors. Most Muslims today still believe that Muhammad is still alive, both physically and spiritually.

An interesting fact that I picked up while conducting the very tiresome research is that every time that Muhammad is talked about or referred to by a pronoun, the abbreviations p.b.u.h. are there. It took me a few minutes to figure out what they meant. At first, I thought it meant “pain becomes unbearable here”; however, the next sentence stated that p.b.u.h. meant “peace be upon him”, probably because he is dead. The reason why the Muslims say this is because the Koran states that you are not allowed to be disrespectful or, in any way, speak against Allah or his chosen leaders. For the few Muslims that believe Muhammad died, this is their way of being respectful to him about it.

Being serious, Muhammad did not do anything to earn or inherit the title of the “Savior” or the “Peace Maker”. Muhammad actually led raids against cities. He either made the people he conquered his slaves or he tortured and executed all of them. This, in no way, compares to Jesus. After learning about all of this, I cannot tell you how glad I am that our Savior was not or was not like Muhammad.
