Saladin. If you ask  me, this man was the most wise man in that crusade period. He knew how to handle the matters and how to take over the empire. He knew about the weakness of crusaders and Arabian army. Well lets light out his name first , Saladin, its in English in Arabic it is Sala-Hu-din.

He is famous in all over the European and Arabic countries. He is known as taking over the empire of Kingdom of God(Jerusalem) , leading the way to re-capture palestine. His image in Europe is like a noble and wise man besides a man with a long beard doing  the wars in the name of Allah. He made his place among every kind of men , due to the knowledge that God gave him to.  The most bloodiest battle ever fought is battle of Hattin and then the re-capturing the Jerusalem.

Before that Muslims, Christians and jews were living together with peace in Jerusalem. Sultan Nur-u-Din, the great king made a deal with the crusader king to take over Jerusalem under some conditions. The condition was that in this holy city every man with any kind of faith are welcome and can live in peace. When Sultan died, Saladin was made king but some of the Arabian Empires did not believe in him as king. So Saladin layed siege. First of all he solve the problems in Damascus taking over some Arabian Empires and then he rested. The time of Jerusalem king had came and Jerusalem needed a new king. You must have heard of the name Balion of ibelin. He was the lord of ibelin. The dying king appointed him that marry my sister isbella and you can have the Jerusalem army. The next was to be The Guy de Lusigan. But king did not want that , because he knew that he would lead wars with Muslims. Because before this, the king of Kerak Reynald de Chattlion attacked a caravan of Muslim with the help of Guy de lusigan. When Saladin became aware he lead  200,000 men at arms to Kerak. A littel fight happened between the knights of kerak and Saladin army but it was just the begining. Saladin came in view with his 200,000 men and after that Jerusalem army had also came in view. The king of Jerusalem and Saladin talked about the situation and came in the decision that there will be no war and Reynald de Chattlion will be punished for his doing. After that Reynald de chattlion was in the jail. When the balion of ibelin decided that he can not marry isabell, the king of jerusalem made the Guy de lusigan the king after his death.

The guy de lusigan was a enemy of Muslims and he could not see any crusader or man with muslims. He bailed out Reynald de chattlion and reynald de chattlion burn down a mulsim village, in which Saladin sister was also present. He killed her sister too. After that Saladin send the word that he needs the body of his sister and the heads of those who are responsible and surrender jerusalem . In answer the Guy cut off the head of the messanger and told him that is the answer i would give to Saladin. The Guy assemble the army and the Balion warns them that you can not go to Saladin. You can not move this army from water and the second thing is that jerusalem will be defence less without an army. They did not listen to him and they move their army to fight with saladin. This was the battle of Hattin. where this army  fell down and were too lazy to fight with saladin. The Guy and Reynald were captured. The Reynald was executed and Guy was taken to unkown point.

This is a historic portrait depciting that what would have happened after battle of Hattin. The Guy is sitting with Saladin with his head down and reynald is on the ground.

Then Saladin makes the move to Jerusalem. The balion of ibelin makes his way into the people of jerusalem and tells them that we have to protect this city. He prepeares knights and some other tactics. The first attack the saladin did was at night. This battle continued for atleast 4 days. The balion was strong and wise too. Atlast the saladin broke down the north wall of Jerusalem and his army entered inside the castle where a bloody fight ocurred. The balion told Saladin that he would burn all the holy places and every stone and all the people living within these walls. He tolds him that you would not be able to rise a big army again. Saladin thinks wisely and gave him the conditions. He promised to keep every kind of faith in the jerusalem and he promised the safety for the cusaders to return to their Christian lands. The balion agrees and surrender jerusalem. After that King Richard also started a crusade and many more things happened. But the point is that Saladin was the wisest king of all times.  How simply he took the jerusalem!
