Insurgency Under Religious Premise?
Recent news has revealed that a large percentage of Muslim Mosques have been found to be advocating messages of violence to their gatherings. There are hundreds of Mosques distributed over the United States. There are various levels of radicalism that are practiced among a number of these Mosques in the Sharia tradition.
We Americans who were raised and taught tolerance and freedom of expression according to our US Constitution have been frankly gullible in the belief that there are not groups who are so idealistically opposed to the American way of life that they have no qualms about engaging in acts of savage violence. The worldwide movement of Jihad (Holy War) that is encouraged and acted upon everyday in the world, differs fundamentally from a Judeo Christian world view inherent in our culture.
With great naivety New Yorkers stood by pacifistically and rationalized the proposed building of a modern and massive Mosque upon the 9-11 Memorial perpetrated by shady Muslim conmen who engaged in acts of violence themselves. The Imam was definitely trying to capitalize on the controversy created by a Mosque being built in close proximity to the site of the worst act of war by a foreign entity ever committed on American soil in history. Where more than three thousand Americans died, a politically correct atmosphere would actually condone the building of a Mosque.
We Americans are utterly mistaken in assuming that there is not recruitment of terrorist inductees going on right here in our midst. Our culture has not yet become so oppressive that those advocating harm against us can still walk the streets and worship in their Mosques while freely discussing the details of conducting Jihad against we infidels.
According to Mordehai Kedar and David Yerusalmi of The Middle East Quarterly, numerous Muslim Mosques built on US soil were surveyed to determine the content of their teachings. In these Mosques where in many cases men and women are segregated during services it is known that an atmosphere of violence is much more likely as opposed to Mosques that allow men and women together to worship.
In 2007 it was established that the Muslim community was more likely to support terrorism based upon an atmosphere of martyrdom that is advocated among extremists. Acts of violence were much more likely to be encouraged and focused at targeted individuals or organization when Sharia Law was being practiced among Muslims.
Studies were conducted using observers who monitored Muslim behavior in order to ascertain whether or not a greater potential for justifying violence against non- believers was more likely. There were surprising commonalities. Where Sharia Law was practiced or encouraged, women wore robes that covered their entire bodies but for the head, hands, and feet, where men wore head wrappings and wore long beards, Muslim traditionalists, were much more likely to distribute literature that promoted aggression towards infidels (non believers).
There are segments of Muslim society that believe that they have the right to actually challenge or kill those who oppose Islam once they have been approached about accepting Allah and have decided to reject the offer. Having the right to kill someone if they oppose your attempt to convert them over to your religion is plenty radical by my definition, yet Muslims wanting to convert to Christianity must fear for their lives.
100 Mosques were surveyed in such states as Arizona, California, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Michigan, Florida, and Utah. Percentages of those who participated in the advocacy of Jihad, recruitment for terrorism, distribution of literature that promoted hostility, or did not engage in these practices at all were established.
The results were as follows:
- 47% of Mosques practicing segregated prayer service between men and women exhibited violence positive literature.
- 26% of Mosques who practiced segregation did not use violence positive texts.
- 51% of 100 Mosques surveyed kept extreme violence inciting literature on hand
- 30 % of these Islamic prayer facilities kept moderate violence prone material
- 19% did not keep literature on hand that supported violence toward infidels
- 3 out 5 Mosques invited Imams who promoted hostile action towards opposition
- 98% of Mosques that kept extremely aggressive text content encouraged financial contributions to terrorists
- 5% of Mosques that did not offer hostile literature to their members still urged contributions to terrorist groups
Consider that these organizations are allowed to freely exist among us in our neighborhoods and city streets. Under the Obama administration’s DOJ Muslims have been largely ignored, have been allowed to pass through TSA check points in Airports while elderly women and children were patted down, American war veterans have been targeted as possible domestic terrorists, and in the state of Oklahoma a federal judge was used to order a court injunction against a defeated referendum on the practice of Sharia Law in that state even though 70% of voters opposed the imposition of Sharia Law and it is in violation of the US Constitution.
The surveillance of Mosques does not constitute hate mongering, paranoia, or profiling as the liberal Obama DOJ under former felon Eric Holder would allege. It is an essential part of intelligence gathering necessary to protect our nation, another area that the Obama administration has failed to fulfill their Constitutional responsibility to enforce. The people must wake up.
