Islam is a religion, and the Muslims (Just like the word “Jew” for jewish people, and “Christian” for christian people) belive in many things that are similar.
When I first heard islam, I always thought it was a country, state or province. Now I know better, and I will tell you about it.
The main reason to why Islam is so successful is becuase of how easy it is to convert, and how “portable” the religion is. If you say that “Allah is the god, and Mohammad is his prophet” and truly believe it, you are a muslim.
There are many rules for Islam. These rules are known as Pillars.
