Islam
Islam is a religion which takes Allah as a god. They believe that Allah sent down his holy book, the Quran, on his prophet Muhammad (SAWS). Then, this prophet, kept fighting for his belief for a period of 23 years till his death in 633 AD. His message was complete just before his death and carried on spreading until 1341 AD when the Uthman country fell. Until this very day, muslims make up more than 1/6 out of the world’s population. “Allahu Akbar” is one of the words they say everyday, but what does it mean?
Translation of Allahu Akbar
In the arabic language, “Allahu Akbar” means: Allah is greatest. In Islam, this means that Allah is greater than all existance, from the smallest of atoms to the largest of galaxies and universes. It means Allah has all control in the whole universe and whatever happens is pre-written in ‘Al-lauh al-mahfooz’ or the preserved board (of events) in the high skies. It is normally said when muslims are on a battle campaign and both armies contact, or even seperately like the current soldier incident in Texas: he was heard wailing “Allahu Akbar!” during the shooting.
Other Religions’ Point of View
Of course, as anybody would guess, other religions deny this saying. For example, Christians have taken Jesus as a god and only worship him. Muslims do not deny Jesus as a prophet of god, and that the message he reached to us is right, but do deny his being as god or son of god. He showed some miracles given to him by god (such as curing the blind) and people believed he was god. Judism is completely against Islam and “Allahu Akbar” being true, especially zionists (hence the wars against muslims and Gaza).
Conclusion
Muslims have their own point of view and any other religion has their own point of view. These days, it is a major issue, despite presidents and media stating otherwise. We all have to learn to live with each other peacefully and let everything go to move on.

Religions are mixed with mysticism, peculiar hatreds, and superstition. It will be better to live and let live and to do no harm or better yet, to learn an objective system of ethics based on fairness and Justice. Surely, religions breed disagreements and war.
Agreed. Everyone live with others in peace and whatever you want to do at home or on your own watch, totally up to you. Marwah, the egyptian woman killed in Germany, was one of those very cases of hatred. Very sad, truely…
