Prayer is a contact with Allah and Allah is pure and clean. The person in contact with his Lord should be clean and tidy both internally and externally. It is obligatory to purify yourself prior to Salaat (prayer). This purification procedure is known as ‘Wudhu’. Muslim’s prayers are not acceptable by Allah without Wudhu. It has been made compulsory before each prayer.

  • Do the same with your left hand, three times.
  • Make a cup with your right hand and take water in your mouth. Rinse and gargle the mouth three times.
