A Letter to Someone Tired

Don’t ask God to lessen your burdens, asks God to make your back strong.

You told me that there are times when you feel that your life seems to be a heavy burden and is starting to break you apart.  You start to pray and complain to God and asked Him why He gives you such a heavy load when He knew you are too weak to carry them.  You are so foolish to sometimes even blame God for all your troubles.

My friend, if you will just stop to pause and reflect on what is happening in your life, you will realize that all things happen for a good reason.  You said yourself, you are too weak, and perhaps that’s the reason why God allowed trials in your life to make your faith strong and come out wiser.   It is ironic that sometimes when we are weak is the time wherein we are strong because that’s the time when God is much closer to us than we ever could think, for He loves us.  When we are at our lowest and we feel our spirit so broken inside, our faith becomes stronger because we have no one to depend on but God.  And through these experiences, you will develop the strength to persevere even in the worst life’s storms.

But then you might say, “How can I overcome life’s storms when I am indeed too weak?  What if I fall, will I be able to stand up again?”

Have faith, my friend, for God never leave us alone in the midst of our greatest need.  God will be there coaching us and guiding us on what to do.  Don’t be afraid for should you fall, God will be there to catch and rescue you.  All you have to do is trust Him and listen to your heart and you will hear His voice.

This is such a wonderful message. It is clear and gets right to the point of the matter, God gives us that which we can handle, for it brings us closer to God. Well said, I love this. Michael

Very uplifting message. I have a friend going through some tough times. I tell him God places burdens on those he loves and knows can handle them. He said he wished sometimes God didn’t love him so much. He needed a break. Thank you for another wonderful letter.
