Published by So, what is good? Who came up with the so-called “standard”? Is there even a standard? I’ve been hearing so much lately about how “If you’re a good person then you will surely go to heaven”, and I’d like to know who decided that? Why do we come up with our own religions and rules? When did this start, and why do we deceive ourselves into thinking its okay to do that?
People say that claiming Jesus is the only way to heaven is not “pollitically correct.” Well, I have to ask, is making up your own ideas and selling them to other people and leading them in the wrong eternal direction okay? Why are we such a nation of tolerance? We tolerate everything. It seems that if you think as long as you haven’t murdered anyone your heaven-bound, thats wonderful! At least you have a belief system, and if you think there is no such thing as Hell, well then, thats a great point! But what happens when you’re wrong?
I hope that as you are reading this you will give some thought to your ideas. How are they backed up? Is there any real solid evidence for what you think? Why do you disagree with other ideas? We are in a very interesting era right now. Much hisotry is being made. The U.S. is spiraling downwards towards economic ruin. Violent crimes seem to be going up and up because people are getting desperate. We aren’t promised tomorrow. My belief is in the One True God, and my hope of heaven rests in the forgivness and salvation of Jesus Christ. Many people would disagree and say that being a “good” person is all that is needed to enter through the pearly gates, even though the Holy Bible clearly says that it does not. (But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away Isaiah 64:6 )
