They answered the stay
with pepper spray
The will of the ‘protectors’
overwhelmed the defiant
Passively resisting
They held their ground
The clubs abound
The defiant said “No”
And for what cause?
To send a message to the wicked shepherds of finance
“We will no longer dance to your tune of distress”
We will keep occupying until your greed and selfishness is in check
When the people rise up
The leaders will have to listen
When it moves from their offices to their homes
Only then will they run in fear
For when their greed hits home
It will become apparent that there is no escape
And it will be the people to thank for the change
Who were brave enough to stand their ground and say “No!”
