What Is Judgment?
Judgment is an evaluation in relation to your own self-survival. Step out in front of a bus without knowing it is in your path and I’ll bet judgment will kick in to save your ass. If we have no ability to judge what is in our best interests, then we are fooling ourselves. The definition of judgment: the ability to judge, make a decision, or form an opinion objectively, authoritatively, and wisely, especially in matters affecting action; good sense; discretion (dictionary.com). Try to live without it and see what happens! Discernment is always better, but in a pinch judgment works just fine. Peace. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
Are You Bi-Spiritual?
I used to be bi-spiritual but the arguments were hell. I had to step in and utilize what worked and discard what didn’t and listen to the Spirit of God. What liberation! Walk away from anyone who tells you that what you do out of love is anything less than that. They are not you and being around them will challenge your spirit. Love them and let them go. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
