In all a rather simple question. You would think!
It inevitably isn’t as simple as many may think. However we should always remember one thing whenever we are asked this question, do you believe?
To believe is not to have proof! It is just to believe and nothing more,
I did not have any proof that the afterlife existed, but I believed that somewhere it did, and just months ago I went to a psychic with my mum, and tried to make contact with my late grandmother, and I found proof, ever since my grandmother has been moving her things that now reside at my parents house.
I however found my own proof, I can not find yours.
Do you believe in true love? Again a simple question however for most people the answer is the same, Yes! You believe however only because you want to, and that belief is fine, it works and you can live your life by it.
I believe in true love, I have no proof, i have not found it, experienced it ( i thought i had but it was not meant to be).
Do you believe? In aliens or u.f.o’s or that area 51 holds the most brilliant collection of alien artifacts, or do you believe that people have super powers? Okay, so super powers is a bit crazy I admit but some will believe.
However we all know what we believe in and what is the hardest thing to believe in, personally it is God for me. If you believe i am happy for you, i do not ever tell people what to believe in, you have your right to believe, as i have mine not to. With God i have just one nagging question,
Why if you exist do you make us suffer?
I am aware that i will not get an answer and i am aware that many will tell me to pray, I have tried to pray, i prayed that the bullies that invaded my nightmares would go away. Needless to say four years after finishing my last school they still wake me at night in hot sweats, so still no prayers yet answered!
If you believe in anything, let it be because you believe, let it not be because that cute girl believes or your best mate believes, and if you disbelieve let not be because you have no proof, let it be because you think it is far fetched or untrue, don’t just believe because is it there for you to see.
One thing to do before you die: Take a leap of faith and believe in something with no physical proof, and no evidence to support your belief, just believe!
We all believe in something. Some things seem unbelievable, but we believe anyway. I had an after life experience, so I believe there is something after this life. Others may not believe it because they never had the experience that I had. Maybe they experienced something I never did, so they believe something different. But we all believe in something. Good questions to ponder.
