Published by I don’t know a great deal about christianity and the details of that particular belief system but in my opinion God, as we percieve “him” to be, does not exist.
The fact that we feel the need to label, to justify and to maybe even blame something larger than ourselves for the descisions we make shows weakness and lack of assurance of our own individual power. Nowadays, there is very little we can not explain by science, so, has the need for this faith changed? In my view, God is a collective manifestation of the worst and best aspects of human nature but would we act any differently if the concept of a greater force was never created? I don’t think we would.
The idea that we do have some divine guidance, that we are not alone, is a reassuring concept to many people but with collective faith, comes immense power…the power of influence…and in many cases this has been used and exploited in an immoral and disgusting manner.
Some things do happen for a reason but, in my opinion, this ‘reason’ is not for us to name, understand or worship.

My Belief in a Higher Power has brought me much strength in what have often been very trying and perplexing times.
