Faith or Wishful Thinking

It is important to know in whom or in what you believe. It is up to each person to make that choice.

Everyday we hear about the failing of our nation. Crisis is on every hand. Panic breaking out in the streets all around us. Yet some will say , there is no God. Without faith to believe in some unknown force our lives would literal crash around us. You might ask what is Faith, Well faith is confidence to believe in truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea or thing. There is also Wishful Thinking- which means the identification of ones own wishes with reality. The choice is yours no one can believe for you.

The Bible tells us that faith comes when we belief God’s word. In Hebrew11:1 it says, Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We can clearly see that the economy all around us is failing, but the assurance for those who believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is his promise to take care of them. In Philippians 4:19 it says,  my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. When situations get bad faith plays a very important part. You have a choice to believe and put faith in action,  or to  just use wishful thinking.

Why use Faith? Faith is something that you can’t see,  but you believe no matter what. If you sit down in a chair, you believe before you sit that the chair will hold you up. In Matthew 17:20 Jesus said unto them because of your unbelief, for verily I say unto you, If you have Faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain remove hence and nothing shall be impossible unto you. So the choice is up to you. Do you have Faith to believe or will you just trust your own Wishful Thinking.
