Human corpses are fed by vultures, sharks, crocodiles, wolves,
flies, marabou storks, giant petrels, gharials, lions, hyenas, rats, American black and brown bears, dogs, herring gulls, Opossums, hagfish, scorpionflies, sexton beetles, Tasmanian devils, flesh flies, harvestmen, and coyotes.

Are they also eaten up? So you still have the bones to deal with and how is that economical, To its rather time wasting and been callous.
