God: Just Another Level of Society?

Religion is a highly debatable topic, and one that has many complex answers. The one thing most people agree on is that there has to be something. It can be either in this world or in the next, but there needs to be something for each and every one of us to believe in. Everyone believes something about the world, even if it is that there is nothing more than us. We can not be the biggest things in existence there must be something bigger. But what if we were? What if we are? Truly the biggest and baddest creatures in all the world. How good of a job are we doing as rulers? Think about what we do on a daily basis, we go about ignoring the little things. The ant you kill because it is in your room in the morning, to that ant you are a god. A god that interacts and destroys its world, but what if it never sees you. You are some invisible force that ends it life without a chance. That sounds like something we would do without thinking about it. But now take your god, your all magnificent perfect god.

Why cant he just be a guy up there one step higher on the chain than us? The mistakes and horrible accidents we see happen be some simple slip of the mind or mistake in a bigger world. Who says we have a god that gives a crap about us? What if this all holy god really just is going about his business and however that effects us is too bad. We need something to believe in, we need someone who cares about us. But isn’t it time we realize we may not have that? The god we all want may not exist and the world we want may never exist either. We need to believe in something, and I’m sure everyone understands that. But the people who sit around and do nothing because they think there god will save them need to think. What if this is just a higher being searching for its place in the world, praying to its own god, for its own life. There is so many highly debatable topics to do with religion. Why not spend some time thinking about what your god is doing, for all you know hes writing a book about your life. Think about who you are as a person and what your god makes you do, is it the right thing?
