We hear all the time that America is so great, and on the other hand, we hear America is in trouble. Which is it? Both, neither, a little of each…just my quick thoughts this morning with a cup of good ole’ coffee.
America is in trouble from this writer’s viewpoint. We are failing. Not in just one simple way, but several…our youth are becoming more and more naive, disrespectful, and discontent. Our economy is in shambles. Our very foundation of “In God We Trust” is no longer.
It is that point I want to write briefly on…”In God We Trust”. Folks, thinks for a moment to the very beginning of this great nation that we call the United States of America. Our founding fathers did not have all the luxuries we see today…the very nature of building this country was built upon a belief of “In God We Trust”. Through that belief, God did, indeed, shape American into a great country. He rewarded the faith, the prayers, the belief. He heard, He blessed, He responded…
Yet, today, God is no longer center stage to people in America. In fact, one has to wonder if God even has a stage at all. This, folks, will lead to the downfall of this great country…
Our youth are afraid to express their belief as it has become some sort of “sissy” thing…something not to talk about with friends on the internet, the phone, or chat…No, somehow, some way, the Devil managed to lure something more “vivid” into their sites…worldly things…the internet…the video games…the phones…the gloob tube…and so much more…God took a back stage to all the “so called” blessings we were given in which we could have and should have kept Him center stage…we will pay for that choice…
I guess I am rambling, so to simply state it flat out…
Wake up America…not tomorrow, but today! Tell someone about the Lord…speak out about “In God We Trust”…and do so with pride and faith the He will hear, see, and respond…
Otherwise, we can expect to see this great country fail…fall…and collapse…Without God leading the way, we are simply blindly sailing in the dark without a guide…food for thought on this day…and truthfully, it should be…
In God We Trust…
Or it could simply be that more and more people nowadays accept that there probably isn’t a god.
