Published by Some expectations lead to destruction. We are surprise if desired unexpectedness leads to enjoyment. Expect the unexpected so whenever it happens, you kind of expect it. The message of the gospel is to expect the un-expected. Many people missed Jesus because they did not expect the un-expected.
Every un-expected is a revelation. It is hope. Expecting from God is joy because His surprises are always getting better. God is looking for ways to reward His people. He also enjoys the unexpected because He is a miraculous God. He goes through great lengths to bless His people. He wants you to expect big things from Him also. With His blessings come joy, peace, and happiness.
Certain things in life are not of this life. It requires God to provide it. We are to hope in God. We ought to trust God. In Jesus, there is eternal life. Things of this earth are very uncertain but things of God are certain. Open God’s gift to us and accept Jesus Christ. Today is a day of anticipation where you will meet the unexpected. God will show up but you have to allow Him to show up big time. It only takes a little faith for God to show up big.
Here is a prayer to God. “Dear God, help us to find the anchor of our soul in which you will bless us with the unexpected. Help us to seek you with a sincere heart, so that you may grant that which the heart desires. Lord, I do not know the unexpected as much as you do, so I am depending on you to do that which is miraculously great and exceedingly abundant”. After such a prayer you must thank the Lord.
Sometimes, a little prayer of humility will get God’s attention. Do not hesitate to let your request be known for He is a God of blessings. Yes, we are privileged to call upon the Lord, Christ Jesus for salvation. We are privileged to call upon the Lord for our blessings. We are also privileged to seek the Lord for direction. We do these things in prayer. Amen.
