Published by Many atimes I wonder what people like the late Martin Luther King, Late President Kennedy, Konstantin Tsilovsky, Lenin, Obafemi Awolowo and the rest will be thinking about the present crop of Lobbyist, Oligarchs and politicians presently running the affairs of the world. Only the Almighty God knows the pain and anguish been felt by this highly reverred, uncorrupt respected and patriotic world statesmen who left their foot prints in the sand of time.
Come to think of it, How many of the present set of the afformentioned can be termed to reverred? Patriotic? Uncorrupt? Let the people concerned hold unto the Holy Quran and the Holy Bible and answered this question themselves truthfully and with all sincerity.
The Russian Federation Is very popular with oligarchs, a priviledged few who bought state owned companies for cheap to the detriment of the majority who struggles everyday to make ends meet. The United States is well known for its lobbysts who always have their ways either in the award of military contracts, civillian contracts, passage of bills E.TC. to the detriment of the majority. I once heaed that Washington D.C. is more popular for its lobbyst than it lawyers. Nigeria Is well known for its crooked Politicians. Those who can eassteal not only steal the mandate of the masses in broad day light they can as well steal the wealth that belong to the people.
Still talking on the issues of NIgeria, Many atimes I constantly struggle to remember the defination of democracy which is suppose to be GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE. If that defination is correct what then are we precticing in Nigeria? Riggicracy? Selectocracy? Thuggerycracy? ETC.
Presently it seems the world’s Masses Are helpless to save themselves from the cluthches of the politicians, lobbysts and oligarchs but respite will soon come when the day of the creator comes against the troublers of Nthe masses because no mortal no matter how rich, powerful or famous has been able to overcome DEATH when it unexpectedly comes calling.
How will it look like when a typical politician,lobbyst and oligarch stand before the Almighty God and plead for mercy? How will it look like when the Almighty God In his fury shout back that “were you merciful when you were stealing money meant fot the masses? Were you merciful when you were subverting the will of the majority? were you Merciful when you are killing innocent people for Diabolical means?…………………………
It is never too late for any mortal to turn a new leaf but for the politicians, lobbyst and oligarch that hopes continue with this massive crimes against humanity, it is better they start preparing fot their legal defense against the Almighty God.
