Names of G-d and His Attributes

The original Name of G_d has been lost. It is a 72 letter Name called the Tetragrammon.The Seven Divine Names are; El,Elohim,Adonai,YHWH,Ehyeh-Asher-Ehyeh,Shaddai and Tzevaot. G_d has many attributes. An attribute is a quality or description. First of all, He is holy. Picture the Sun, one of His creations, coming to you. No human is holy or perfect. Holiness is described sometimes as someone, a human, who praises and blesses G_d daily. Holiness means without sin. Sin means seperating yourself from G_d. He is Soveriegn. This means all power belongs to Him. If G_d so chooses, He may give you talents and the power to use them. He is loving as a normal Father is to His children; yet has emotions and feelings too. G_d becomes sorrowful and also possesses the attribute of mercy.

To have mercy means compassion or understanding of other living beings. G_d does get angry, even though some say this is not true. G_d gives us a conscience so we know right from wrong. He gives the Holy Spirit to cause conviction for change when we continue to hurt others or self. He desires us to be thankful and praise Him. G_d desires us to imitate Him. He deserves all worship and all honor. He still calls to those who are willing to listen. G_d is infinite and a G_d of justice. He says venegance is Mine and I will repay. In my personal life, I know this to be true.He is truth. He is the creator of all. Art is a type of Creation, an imitation of Him. Again,G_d is a G_d of Mercy which means He is all knowing, even of our thoughts. Nurses used to be called angels of mercy because they risk their lives to care for the sick. A study of the Arch Angels is a wonderful experience for any who choose to do so. Yet, we are not to worship them. Mankind tries to make Him fit their religions. I think He must laugh at us.
