Revenge is one of the three mayor disgraces that humankind has yet met. I think it is not safe for the universal balance to give the gift of liberty to humans in the first place, but God will always remain a mystery against my pitiful knowledge. Often, more likely always, revenge leads to frustration. But even worse it gets when a resented human achieves power. This has been seen in many schools nowadays, when an unhappy kid grabs his father’s revolver gun and stains the halls of youth with both innocent and guilty blood.
Mahatma Gandhi once said: “An eye for an eye, then the whole will die.” Revenge is a deathly poison that only a pure soul can defeat.
Then of course, there is this thing which is a natural enemy with the deceitful demon of revenge. It is been called many, many names across time. It is the word which in English spells “forgiveness”. It is our most powerful weapon against revenge; it means to deliver our attackers from what punishment they deserve. Even more simple are the three words that describe it, ‘I am sorry’, but surprisingly there are but few humans straight enough to swing the blazing sword of mercy against the accursed gill of Satan.
There are two ways to save the world from evil. One is to vanquish every free soul, mostly humans, so not a will could become twisted. This first one is a little stupid, I know. The second is to defeat the mortal willpower of the demons, which are unfair and dare to defy the children of Yahvé.
If you chose the second option, then grab the sword of forgiveness, which God provided you since the beginning of times, and harass the hideous spirits of discord.

Hey, Brilliant article. I guess your right, no matter how good it feels to take revenge, the better thing to do is forgive.
I liked that about the sword that you wrote.
