The Grand Masterpiece

 The universe is a showcase of powerful symmetry, design and authority. The formation of the sun, planets and other celestial objects in the solar system is an artistic ensemble of physical form, balance and order representing aesthetic values of beauty and functional harmony. The mystery of the exact laws that govern its order compelled most of us to believe that these extraordinary attributions belong to God – the ultimate master designer of the Universe.

 The right location of planets within the Milky Way galaxy made the earth as the only planet for human habitation. The third planet from the sun after Mercury and Venus the earth, stunningly situated before each other in orbit with the rest of the five planets in the solar system. The distinctive features of the earth with its right diameter, right atmospheric pressure, right amount of oceanic water and right weight and mass, has profoundly met the essentials for thriving lives.

 The addition of the ozone layer is another kind of distinctive design to care for life on earth. It is mainly located in the lower portion of the stratosphere approximately 10 km. to 50 km. above the earth. It absorbs 93% – 99% of the sun’s ultra violet light that potentially hazardous for the environment. This atmospheric filter is kind of special thermostat device for earth in obtaining right amount of light and radiation from the sun.

The earth must also tilt in an exact angle of 23.5 degrees on its axis when orbiting the sun to give light and energy to the different regions of the earth at different angles throughout the course of one orbit. This would give an opportunity of differences in the seasons and the annual warming and cooling cycles of the Earth’s Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Within the earth’s interface is its moon.  The only satellite of earth about less than one-third of its size, orbiting from west to east generating gravitational pull that affect the earth’s ocean tides. This reciprocal action allows the routine of dividing time into periods of day and night, which also defined by seasons, years and lunar phases beneficial for its chronological precision serve as an arranged functional time-grid. In addition, the interlocking forces of the earth’s natural resources (air, water, sunlight, land, minerals, vegetation, and animals) create the complex global ecosystem that significantly nurtures polymorphic life on earth. Indeed, the blueprint of designs project boundless intellect, immeasurable power and devotion of workmanship dedicated into something of great value.
