Many of us think that as we have had desires in the past and they haven’t materialized that we shouldn’t get excited. The number one reason our desires don’t manifest is we haven’t learned the art of ‘allowing’ them to. Allowing is simply the absence of doubt, doubt is a negative vibration. Allowing is a positive one. We may have the desire, and pay attention to that desire but as long as we have even a bit of doubt we don’t allow our desires to manifest.
If you doubt you have something or that you can have something you are sending out negative vibrations and if you remember the Law of Attraction can only bring us what we want if we are in vibrational alignment with it. The negative vibration of doubt will cancel out the positive vibration of your desire. Allowing can only occur if there is an absence of doubt.
The speed that you manifest your desires is in proportion to how much you allow or don’t doubt. While you can have a strong desire with only a little bit of doubt your manifestation of desires will take longer. Remove the doubt and things begin to come quickly. It is our limiting beliefs that cause us to doubt. Limiting beliefs are just negative thoughts we have repeated over and over again in our minds. Limited beliefs send out a negative vibration and then we are only able to attract more of the same.
You can identify your limited beliefs by watching what you think and say. Two words that we need to eliminate from our vocabulary and thoughts are ‘I can’t,’ and ‘because.’
‘I would like to have a better job, but I can’t because I don’t have an education.’
“I would love to be married but I can’t because I am too old, too shy etc.’
‘ I would love to be slim but I can’t because everyone in my family is big.’
When you catch yourself saying ‘because’ or ‘I can’t’ you have just discovered one of your limited beliefs.
A limited belief is just a negative belief that you have learned by repeating it over and over, you can change your beliefs by changing your thoughts and the words you use. Start by catching yourself when you hear yourself saying ‘I can’t, and because’, and change these to more realistic descriptions.
‘I would like to have a better job. There are plenty of people who have succeeded without an education.’
‘I would love to be married. I have lots to offer and share with someone. I’m only as old as I feel.’
With time and practice you can change your limited beliefs and in doing so raise your vibration. Watch for the little signs that your desires are coming and celebrate them happily. The Law of Attraction begins to show you in little ways that you are getting closer to manifesting your desires. Record these in a journal to help remind you to have faith. Don’t worry or stress about the what, why, where or how your desires will come about, leave that to the universe and give thanks and be grateful for the things that are in your life that you want and for those things that are coming to you.
