The True Meaning of Faith

Most times we tend to believe faith is all about being faithful in all our dealings in life, yes, it is that but it involves more than that.

Faith involves three things in my own understanding aside the one we all know. Work is equals to faith. This is purely biblical. For one to profess he or she is really walking in faith in other to eke out a work – something everyone sees about your life and glorifies God for His faithfulness and greatness, one must have to imbibe the three things I believe will make his or her faith forceful and believable. Thoughts + words + strong beliefs equal faith. These are the ingredients of faith that we have not well been acquainted with. To start with, in your mind, you have to be filled with such thoughts that glorify God and you move to the next level of putting those thoughts into words and believing that those thoughts cum words cum beliefs in God would work for you. When you utter those thoughts, they become words, and when you did not betray your trust in God to make those things come to pass, miracle will take place in your life – miracle, in the sense that that which you believed Him to do for you has come to pass.

That is when faith is said to be Christianity at work – work that has shown tangible evidence for one to learn to love and believe God from your experience. Faith is not all about fulfilling God’s injunctions and commandments it far supersede that once you saw reason in the above reasoning I have brought to bear on the full meaning of FAITH. Having faith in God is different from being faithful. One can be faithful to what he/she believes in or live with, but doesn’t have faith in that person or school of thought to save him or her on the rainy day. It is only God whom when you express your implicit belief in His ways that will see you through those trying moments you have been experiencing. Learn to start with thoughts about what your expectations are of God, you profess that they shall come to pass and be made manifest in your life and that is the betrayal of that strong belief in God and you shall receive that which has made other people keep smiling in the face of the present economic crunch we all refer to as GFC – global financial crisis. Believe in your thoughts knowing that it is God that planted them there and profess them. That is all faith means.
