Published by what many people do is they think of god as a human but others often view him as more of a higher power a thing that is just a strange substance that can be in everything and change the things that those things do.
What some scientists and myself believe is that he is not a human form but something like a great ball of a conciencness that can somehow change the happenings on earth by gently pushing peoples ideas into different frames of mind that can cause different things happening hence answering some of the offerings and the prayers that are heard and noticed by him.
That is probably the most likely thing and if there are lots of gods they probably all cover certain areas of the offerings and prayers.
So god and the other gods are probably just floating consciences.
